The Class of 1926 folder contains material pertaining to the 1926 graduating class of North Carolina College for Women (NC College for Women, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). Included in the folder are programs from the 1926 Baccalaureate Sermon, the Class Day, the Commencement Weekend, the Vesper Service, and the Alumnae Day. There is a directory booklet from 1927, and a directory booklet from 1976 which includes a short biographical summary of the lives of the 1926 Alumnae. Of particular interest is a Memoir of Kate Hall Carlson written by Eleanor V. Bennett. Also included are reunion letters, from 1949, 1976, 1951, and reunion notes from 1972 and 1977, and a 50th anniversary alumnae photo. There is a newsletter from May 5th, 1978, and a series of photocopied newspaper articles concerning UNCG's new scepter, the Mace. Also included are two hand-painted decorative 1925 Formal programs, and a photocopy of the Chancellor's Speech.
