My Dear Miss Taylor:
Attached is a letter addressed to Miss Ann Prince, reported
by the local nex^spaper as being President of your Student
Government Body. With your permission I would like to have
this letter delivered to her.
It was disturbing, to say the least to observe the fine looking
young ladies harrassing these local Businessmen by parading before
their places of business, today. They appeared to be healthy,
intelligent, well dressed, well fed. Yet they appear determined
to destroy our way of Life and some of the Business people whose
taxes are educating them.
It would be very interesting to know who has "sold" them this
philosophy and who at the College condones this sort of action?
Perhaps, for the first time in their lives this sort of thing
makes them feel important. Perhaps they want to rebel against the
authority of their Parents, and grasp this opportunity to hurt
others as their outlet of emotion. It would be an interesting
study to learn the basic reasons for such actions.
In any event, it seems proper to me that these young ladies should
be made aware of the hardship they are perhaps un-wittingly causing
by placing these local business men in such a difficult position.
Most young people are fair-minded, so I do hope the attached letter
may offer a view-point they may not have considered before lending
their support to this,- what I firmly believe to be Communist instigated
action.
Respectfully yours,
