Dear Mrs. Hambright:
A major difficulty facing many of our patients is their
inaccurate concept of the community to which they will return.
On behalf of the patients and staff I should like to thank you
and your members for helping us with this difficulty. The activities
and programs you have brought to our patients have given the patients
an opportunity to regain some of their social skills and at the same
time you have demonstrated to the patients that you and people like
you in the community are concerned for this welfare.
We have been well pleased with your visits, your programs have
been most interesting and entertaining for the patients. Your members
are also to be commended for preparing the delicious refreshments.
Good home made items are a real treat to our patients, and I might
add, staff too.
Again, we say thank you and all your members and friends for
remembering the hospitalized people from your county. We do hope you
can continue to assist us in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill.
With kind regards, I am,
ours sincerely,
