Ussery recalls the sexual harassment she experienced during Advanced Individual Training, the gender discrimination and negativity she endured as a single, pregnant woman in the military, and the lack of support from the military when she separated from the army. Ussery expresses her belief that the military should have more programs for single parents, and that they should better communicate the services they do have.
