Oral history interview with Nancy Zona Uhland
Primary documents the adolescence of Nancy Zona Uhland, her time with the United States Army, and her life after the service. Uhland recalls her childhood in rural Pennsylvania, the education she received at Pennsylvania State University, and the decisions leading to her enlistment in the United States Army. Uhland discusses the various positions she held while in the service, and the confidence and the sense of structure she acquired as a result of the military.
