AAF ORD Greensboro, N.C. processing manual
The text in this document is the same as that in "3:3 ORD -- Pamphlets -- Army Air Forces, Overseas Replacement Depot," but this version does not include the charts and photographs. This typescript, with a different and more interesting cover, was probably a text only copy for Colonel Younts' use since his name is written on the cover. As stated, it is "a guide to be used in the processing of officers and enlisted personnel at this station," the Greensboro Overseas Replacement Depot. It is a comprehensive "standard operation procedure guide" of the Greensboro, NC, AAF Overseas Replacement Depot (ORD), printed in 1946. It is divided into 18 sections starting with "Processing Control Office" and ending with "Transportation Activities (Commercial)."

AAF separation processing: A pictoral study
This is a pamphlet of an observation study of separation procedure activities conducted at the Greensboro NC Army Air Forces (AAF) Overseas Replacement Depot (ORD) and Redistribution Center #5. Prepared in 1946 by the AAF Personnel Distribution Command, this document includes 63 photographs of the ORD soldiers at different steps in the separation process (i.e. the process of separating out of the military once the war had ended), with charts and detailed texts. The bottom photo on page 070 shows the typing pool photo, with Chessie Walker on the left and behind her, in the middle of the photo, Lilian Spencer Steele. As some pages are handwritten and others typed this may have been a final draft of the study.
