Transcript	November 18, 1899. Faculty met in special session. The President stated that he had called the meeting in order to secure the judgment and advice of the Faculty in regard to suspending the work of the College before he should communicate with the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. A resolution was adopted to the effect that it was the sense of the Faculty that owing to the prevalence of typhoid fever in the College it would be wise to suspend work unit January 2, 1900, and make up the loss time by continuing the annual session into June. (The President immediately telegraphed to the Executive Committee to secure their counsel to the suspension.)
