Description
According to Annie Petty , "Teague House stood where Curry now stands . It was used as a dormitory with Miss Boddie in charge . It and the plot of land around it , (from Joyner House to Forest St , Spring Garden to Railroad) was purchased for $50,000 . The Alumnae Association financed it as the College could get no additional money. " This photo of Teague House was taken in the late 1890s or early 1900s .

Folder description
The Teague House was located on Spring Garden Street , where Curry Building now stands . It was rented by the College in 1899 for use as a dormitory with Miss Viola Boddie in charge . In 1922 , the house was moved south to a site near the railroad to make way for the Alumnae Building .
