1952
. She
graduated
from
Wheaton
high
school
in
1970
, and from
UNCG
in
1974
and
joined
the
UNCG
faculty
in
1988
. She
is
currently
a
professor
and
associate
dean
of
undergraduate
programs
in the
health
and
human
sciences
department
while
also
being
a
Fellow
of
American
Academy
of
Kinesiology
.
Dr
.
Williams’
research
focus
is
on
issues
of
balance
and
mobility
in
older
adults
. She has
written
numerous
publications
for
varying
topics
in
kinesiology
.
Dr
.
Williams
discusses
the
changing
of
UNCG’s
campus
and
political
atmosphere
from her
undergrad
to her
time
on
campus
today
as
professor
and
associate
dean
of
undergraduate
programs
in
health
and
human
services
.
