of a
unique
Woman’s
College
classroom
experience
where
twenty-three
art
and
home-economics
majors
designed
and
supervised
the
building
of a
house
. The
purpose
of the
project
was to
give
the
students
a
working
knowledge
of the
challenges
of their
homes
and
families
.
It
was
supervised
by
local
architect
and
Woman’s
College
part-time
Art
Department
instructor
,
Edward
Loewenstein
, and was
featured
in the
November
1958
edition
of
McCall’s
Magazine
.
