Description	This photograph shows the Winfield side of Weil-Winfield Residence Hall in the 1990s. The Winfield Residence Hall, designed by W. C. Holleyman of Greensboro, North Carolina, opened in 1939. In 1941, the building was named in honor of Martha Elizabeth Winfield (Class of 1906), a member of the English Department faculty from 1906 to 1936. She established a scholarship in the English Department.
