Very dark bluish-green (C166) embossed linen grain cloth; Massachusetts State House with flags surrounded by trees and flying birds, within decorative frame, Boston seal and florets below, lettered at head and foot, all in gilt, white, green, blue, red and reserved very dark bluish-green; signed "G.W.E(in cursive), possibly George Wharton Edwards; floret, rules, and lettering on spine in gilt. |
