$100 REWARD!
Ranaway from the subsciber on the 29th of last Dec., and the 19 of Jan inst., two negro men of the following description : MOSES is 25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches high, yellow complexion, thick set and weighs 170 to 180 pounds ; invariably smiles when spoken to, and is inclined to be bow-leged[sic]. Supposed to be lurking in the neighborhood of Nahunta Swamp or Button Branch, near Wayne and Greene County line. BRYANT is 33 years old, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, complexion black, slender built and weighs 150 pounds, and has a scar upon one cheek occasioned by a burn. Supposed to be lurking on the North side of Neuse River near Johnston and Wayne county line.
Fifty dollars reward will be given for the apprehension and confinement of each of said negroes in Wayne county Jail, and fifty dollars for evidence sufficient to convict any person harboring or employing them.
