NOTICE.
RUNAWAY FROM THE UNDERSIGNED, ON THE 8th of the present month (January,) two negro women--LOUISA and MATILDA--the property of Mr. Griffin, of Pasquotank county, N. C., from whom I hired them. Both of said negroes are about medium height.--Louisa is tolerably thick set--a dark mulatto, with grey eyes. I suppose her to be between 22 and 25 years old.--Matilda is rather slim, with dark eyes and black skin, and I suppose between 14 and 16 years old. I understand a part of Mr. Griffin's negroes were hired out at Raleigh and Durham's Station. It is probable that these negroes are about one of the places. Possibly they may be trying to get to the Yankees. Any information will be thankfully received.
