FIFTY DOLLARS REWARD.
RUNAWAY FROM THE UNDERSIGNED ON THE 25th December, a negro boy named ANDERSON, about twenty-five years old, perfectly black--heavy set, and weight from 175 to 190 pounds when he left.--He has been hand-cuffed. Said by[sic] is supposed to have been raised by Mr. Lewis, of Sampson county, N. C.--When he left he had on a blue jacket and white pants, very ragged; has good teeth and speaks freely. I bought him of Mr. L. P. Robinson, of Augusta, Ga., on the 15th instant, and was on my way to Richmond Va., and had to lay over in Raleigh on account of not being able to get passage. I was camped by the side of the Railroad track. He left about dark.
I will pay the above reward to any person who will deliver said boy to any jail for safe-keeping so that I can get him. Any information will be thankfully received.
