$50 REWARD.--RANAWAY FROM the subscriber in Alamance county, upon the 11th of February, a negro boy named RUFF. Said boy is about 23 or 24 years old, black complexion, 5 feet 8 inches high and weighs 180 or 190 pounds. The end of the little finger of his left hand injured, being permanently crooked. He has two suits of clothes, one gray homespun coat, and the other darker. His shoes are newly bottomed. My impression is that he is making his way to the enemy. The above reward will be paid for his apprehension and delivery to me or confinement in jail so that I can get him.
