$20 Reward.
RANAWAY from the subscriber on the 2nd day of August, a negro boy by the name of DAVY. Said negro is about twenty-five years old, spare built, about five feet eight or ten inches high, and has rather a down look when spoken to, and has a scar on the back of one hand caused by being burned; had on when he left a straw hat, and a common suit of homemade clothes, his pantaloons filled in with purple dyed filling. He is a Black Smith by trade. The above reward will be given for his apprehension and delivery to me, near Moringsville, Chatham county, N.C., or if confined in any jail so that I can get him.
