$10 Reward.
RANAWAY from the subscriber, on the night of the 7th instant, a negro boy named JOE---or MARCUS, as he is some times called. Said boy belongs to the heirs of a Mr. Strong in Steel Creek Settlement, in this County, where it is likely he will make his way, as he has a wife in that neighborhood. He is about 28 years old, dark complected, of obscure speech, and about 5 feet 8 or 10 inches high. The above reward will be given for the apprehension and delivery of said boy to me in Charlotte between this and the 15th instant, or $5 for his delivery any time thereafter.
