$25 Reward.
RUNAWAY or Stolen from the Subscriber on the 5th inst., a negro, named Lewis, who I purchased of Claiborne Shearin, of Warren, Co. N. C. about three weeks since. Discription[sic]-he is about six feet 3 or 4 inches high; well proportioned, about 30 years old; some grey hairs on his head. He has been in the habit of ditching in Warren for several years past. He carried with him a violin, which he is very fond of playing, also a cloth cloak, a brown homespun coat with brass buttons, a white fur hat and black wool hat. Any person who will deliver said negro to Solomon Fleming of Warren, will be paid the above reward. W. A. SMITH.
