RANAWAY from the SUbscriber residing in Craven County, seven miles from New bern, a Negro man named GILBO--He is between 25 and 30 years of age, light complexion, about five feet high and has an impediment in his speech when closely interrogated--He had on when he left home an Osnaburghs shirt and trowsers, and cloth round Jacket--He has a wife at Mr. Willaim Barrows, on the road leading to Pembroke, in which neighborhood he may possibly be lurking. I forwarn all persons from harboring said negro, or Captains of vessels from carrying him away. The above will be given for his delivery to me or being secured in any Jail, so that I may get him again.
