$50 REWARD.
RANAWAY from the subscriber, on the 15th of February, his negro boys ALFRED and ALBERT. I bought Alfred form Mr. D. J. Southerland of Wilmington, about five weeks ago; he says his former master's name is Edward R. Coward, of Green county, in this State. He is about 19 years old, about 5 feet 8 or 10 inches high, dark complexion, grum countenance, full face; speaks short and abrupt when spoken to; had on when he left a short dark colored kersey jacket, and light colored kersey pants, new brown homespun shirt, and light colored felt hat, half worn out, with wide black band.
Albert is a bright mulatto boy, about 4 feet 6 or 10 inches high, 12 years old, rather a pleasing countenance, and speaks quick when spoken to--has a scar over one eye; had on when he left a very dark colored jacket, and two pair pants of same stuff, brown homespun shirt, cap with oil-cloth cover. Alfred took a bundle of clothes and a blanket with him.Albert was raised in this county, and has been enticed off by Alfred. They will no doubt make for the Wilmington and Weldon Railroad.
I will give $50 reward for both, or $25 for either, confined in any jail in the state where I can get them, or delivered to me on Moore's Creek, New Hanover county, N.C.
