RANAWAY from the subscriber on the 23rd inst. a Negro woman named POLLY, belonging to the heirs of col. J.S. Smith, dec. The said negro is a tall slim woman, of yellow complexion. It is supposed she is in Newbern, or lurking about Slocumb's Creek, as her husband, Ezekeil Chance, a free man, resides thereon. I forewarn all persons from harboring or employing said negro under the penalty of the law. The above reward will be paid on the delivery of said woman to
