Raleigh

Carolina

schools

High
School

Following
service
in the
U.S
.
Army
Corps
of
Engineers
(1943-1946)
he
entered
North
Carolina
A.
&
T
.
Technical
State
University
,
where
he
received
a
bachelor
of
science
degree
in
architectural
engineering
with
high
honors
in
1949
.
Jenkins
was a
registered
architect
and
practiced
for
thirt
-nine
years
in
North
Carolina
,
South
Carolina
,
Florida
, and
Virginia
. This
collection
documents
some
of his
architecture
and
business
career
.
