Dear Chancellor Ferguson,
First, let me thank you for your expediency in replying to my letter
dated April 11, 1973. I realize that it is indeed an imposition to request
an answer within a week's time, and I am quite appreciative.
Last night, a motion was made and carried by the Student Senate to
request that the Ad Hoc committee, you formed to hear the NEO-Black Society appeal, issue to the Student Senate an explanation of what evidence
they found to be new evidence that was presented in the executive session
of the Student Senate meeting of March 26-27, 1973, and, also, why they
found that new evidence to be of "questionable validity".
This report, if received, will be kept in strictest confidence.
Upon receiving the letter, I shall take all necessary precautions in compliance with Robert's Rules of Order to prevent those persons' not in
attendance of the previous executive session from hearing said letter.
The letter shall be read and discussed in, and only in, the executive
session that the Student Senate will hold on April 17, 1973 at 6:00 p.m.
If the committee would like to send a representative to our meeting,
we would be most appreciative. However, this is merely up to the committee's discretion.
Thank you for all of your help in this matter.
Sincerely,
(Jriju^c^ /<C®d4UA
