I reiterate that the purpose and the results of the Forum were educational.
Those who attended learned the claims of the Black Power advocates directly
and not through a second-hand experience.
This movement is a reality in American life, and it cannot be wished
away simply because it is controversial. I do not believe people should wait
until a crisis develops to learn something about a troublesome subject.
