He said that participation of

increased the inflammatory nature
of the crisis last week. Dr. Blaek^
well stated that the danger of
violence hecame very great and
that race relations in Greensboro
have been set back by the situation.
The chancellor saM that the sit-
down movement was not a wise
move. He said* however, that sitNh

about a temporary halt to the

down for two weeks in order for
