Dear Robert*
This entire area is dumfounded and are wondering
just why Guilford College has to get all of the
"screwball11 conferences for young people as well
as adults♦ To say the least, their viewpoints
and actions are extremely radical and certainly
contrary to our good old Quaker principles*
The boys and girls have every appearance of true
ftbeatniksn and from all indications and hearsay,
they are just that - it is certainly not to the
credit of Guilford College to have all of these
"wild eyeTf conferences, which give the world a
very bad impression of Guilford1s philosophy*
¥on!t you and the Board of Trustees please check
in on this, as it is a serious matter* Also, the
trustees should and must exercise their authority
and not leave such matters to the Milners or the
other radical element there at the college*
