APRIL NEWSLETTER Elliott University Center University of North Carolina at Greensboro Greensboro, NC 27412 Telephone {919) 379-5450 There will be an organizational meeting on Monday, April 25 at 8:00pm in the Claxton Room of Elliott Hall. This meeting is to set up exam schedules. Please work out your schedule before the meeting so you can be ready to sign up. News people will be able to sign up for exam period news show~, also. One D.J. will be elected at this meeting to represent the D.J. 's at Executive Board meetings. This person will attend Executive Board meetings and w~ll have voting privileges. Nominations and voting will take place at the meeting, so show up!! Paul Bell and John Kiger deserve a special thanks for all their work and help. They will be graduating in May. And to all other seniors on the staff, thanks for your help! The blue tag now appearing on albums designates it as a playlist album. This should help you to reshelve playlist albums correctly. Illegal I.D. 's have gotten to be a bad habit around here. This is an example of a legal I.D.: ''You're listening to WUAG-FM, Greensboro" No if, and, but, at, or anything else belongs in there. If you hear an illegal I.D., call the D.J. and ask him to do it over again. We've been cited by the FCC for an illegal I.D.; don't let it happen during your show. If you know anyone who is interested in taking the license test during the summer, ask them to stop by the station for study guides, sample tests and schedules. See you at the meeting on Monday, April 25!
