Description
Academic and business correspondence mostly written to Dr. Charles D. McIver of the State Normal and Industrial School in 1895. A few financial items are addressed to E. J. Forney the school bursar (treasurer). Topics include complete letters, pamphlets and catalog drawings from furniture manufacturers advertising their products to the school. Also letters and pamphlets from textbooks publishers, state and national periodicals, letters concerning the construction of the plumbing, boilers, and coal and iron used at the State Normal, and also recommendation letters for prospective faculty and students.
