My dear Lula: I had 20 letters yesterday, about 10 of which were applications. I have over 200 applicants. All the counties except 26 have applied.
I’m having a good Institute & I wish you could be here with me.
I hope you are keeping up and well this hot weather. I took tea at the Spruills last night and went to the Literary Club.
