Description
Business and personal letters of Charles D. McIver from the latter half of 1902. Most of the correspondence is with Laura H. Coit as she descibes business and individuals of the State and Industrial School. Topics include letters from Annie Randall, Laura H. Coit, Lula Martin McIver, W.D. McIver, J. Joyner, L.J. McIver, J.B. Matthews M.D., William C.A. Hammel of the department of physics and manual training at Maryland State Normal College, the law offices of Battle and Mordecai, and Edwin Aldermann of Tulane University. There is an unsigned letter adresssed to an Aycock expressing interest in the position of Director of the North Carolina Railroads, a receipt for National Education Association dues, and a list of then currently serving superintendents and college presidents in North Carolina.
