Description
Notes and correspondence addressed to Charles D. McIver and associates at the State Normal and Industrial School in the early months of 1900. Topics include notes of sympathy, anger, and criticism of the college in the aftermath of the malarial and typhoid fever outbreaks, lists of students afflicted with the illness and final reports of the causes. There are also letters from Dr. Anna M. Gove and Annie Trotter. There are also letters discussing the recommendation of J.Y. Joyner as a candidate for president of Greensboro Female College.
