Claire Kelleher (1927- ), assistant professor of art emerita, came to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1968 after receiving her PhD in London, England and retired in 1995. Kelleher describes her interview process, the quality of the art library, building the art department's slide collection and the mainstay courses of the program. She talks about moving into the Weatherspoon Art Museum, the gallery directors, the quality of faculty and students, and the art history and studio art programs. She discusses campus atmosphere during the Vietnam Era and the new department chair, Porter Aichele.
