Description
This scrapbook, created by members of the Junior Class Dance Committee at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), contains materials relating to the Junior-Senior formal dance held on May 8, 1948 in Rosenthal Gymnasium. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, correspondence from the Allsbrook-Pumphrey Music Agency regarding the choice of an orchestra, an orchestra program produced by the Johnny Satterfield Orchestra, and dance committee reports detailing committee duties and financial expenditures. Pages of the scrapbook are decorated with green and yellow paint.
