Samaya Roary was born in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1998. She served as the President of the Student Government Association during the 2018-2019 academic year. Ms. Roary attained her BA in Political Science (Pre-Law) and Communication studies in 2019. In this interview, Ms. Roary discusses her activities at UNCG in several organizations and roles including, President of SGA, junior senator of SGA, Spartan Guides, Lloyd International Honors College, Running Start, and the American Association of University Women. Ms. Roary also discusses her experience studying abroad in London and summer work in Washington, D.C. Ms. Roary concludes the interview by talking about how UNCG has affected her life and where she sees UNCG heading in the future.
