Dr. Keith Cushman was born December 23, 1942, in Jefferson City, Missouri. He received his undergraduate degree at Harvard University, and his graduate degrees from Princeton University. Dr. Cushman is a leading international D. H. Lawrence scholar with broad interests in modern and contemporary drama, and British poetry and fiction. In his interview, Dr. Keith Cushman discusses his early life, the English department and UNCG.
