Dr. Hephzibah Roskelly was born December 1947 in Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Roskelly received her BA from Murray State University, and her MA and Ph.D. from the University of Louisville. Her research interests include rhetoric and composition theory, women's history and rhetoric, pedagogy, American literature before 1900, and philosophy and composing. She began working at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1989. In her interview, Dr. Roskelly discusses her early life, UNCG, the English and Women's Gender Studies Department, and the future for UNCG.
