Ms. Karbley was born in Lancaster, PA in 1984, but moved to Wilkesboro, NC in 1988. She graduated from Wilkes Central High School in 2002. Ms. Karbley then attended UNCG where she received a degree in English and immediately went to procure her master's of education from the same university. Ms. Karbley discusses her early life, time, accomplishments, and coming out at UNCG, and how she is working in her current community.
