May Davidson (1919-2011) graduated in 1940 from Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After obtaining her degree in Secretarial Administration, she worked in Washington, D.C. for several North Carolina congressmen, Senator Sam Ervin, and Governor James Hunt. May Davidson recalls her four years at Woman's College of the University of North Carolina. She discusses Harriet Elliott, chapel programs, and her degree. Davidson describes her life after attending college and working in Washington, D.C. for Congressmen Joe Erwin, Hamilton Jones, and William M. Colmer, as well as working for Senator Sam Ervin during the Watergate Hearings.
