| Description | A bound collection of correspondence letters from June 9th to August 1st, 1903 of the State Normal and Industrial College called Book No. VIII. The letters are composed mainly by Dr. Charles Duncan McIver with several others by Miss Laura H. Coit in direct response to inquiries about the college. The names of persons communicated with are indexed alphabetically by last name in first several pages. Topics include letters written for job inquiries, dormitory requests, tuition payments, requests by school presidents or principals for teachers to work at their schools, application errors correspondence with educational professionals, manufacturers of educational supplies and state and national educational officials. |
