| Description | Bound collection of correspondence from the State Normal and Industrial Institute and later the State Normal and Industrial College from 1894 to 1901. The letters are composed mainly by Dr. Charles Duncan McIver with several others by Miss Laura H. Coit. Almost all of the letters concerning financial matters like tuition payments were composed by E. J. Forney the school bursar. Topics include letters to faculty like Sue May Kirkland, J. L. M. Curry and Annie F. Petty, education associates George Foster Peabody and E. McK. Goodwin as well as typed responses from letters for catalog requests, textbooks, lectures, and information exchanges with lecturers. |
