Topics include recommendation letters, potential students, an invitation to a seat in the Southern Biblical Assembly's Charlotte Assembly Council, tuition, scholarships and work studies, returning students, textbook orders, a visit by the State School Comissioner, candidates to fill faculty vacancies, school catalogs, tables for the library, shoe orders, back orders of """"The North Carolina Teacher"""" finding available space for a potential summer school, correspondence with the Superintendent of the North Carolina School for the Deaf and Dumb, the suspension of school, malaria and typhoid epidemics at the college, a typed thank-you letter from the families and friends of the students who had been sick for the care given their students by school employees and local residents, the methods involved in the conversion of the school into a hospital for the epidemic patients, the original handwritten thank-you letter signed by families and friends of ill students, the appointing of a candidate for the position of Assistand Professor of Law at the University, lectures and lecturers, the necessity of publishers using the correct name of the school in educational advertisements, and an invitation for McIver and the students of the college to the Websterian Society of Guilford's annual Oratorial Contest.
