Description
This program documents the sixth annual picnic (July 2, 1910) for the employees of the Revolution Cotton Mills, Proximity Manufacturing Company, and White Oak Cotton Mills. Two pages list the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners for a contest for “best front yards and neatly kept premises” which was presented to residents of each mill community. There is a photo of a possible winner on another page and photos of the Revolutionary Mill, and the White Oak School. The program details all the musical performances, names of addressers, and the delicious dinner menu. (JS)
