This folder contains documentation pertaining to an initiative on the part of Rayond Binford called, "The Quaker Brotherhood." The point of the Brotherhood was that Binford would house a group of young men during the college year. They didn't have to pay for room, heat, water or light, but were obliged to do 235 hours of work. Correspondence discusses the program, as well as other programs designed to benefit students who needed aid. Also there is a compilation of quarterly meeting records from various colleges, as well as many near-illegible personal notes by Raymond Binford.
