Dark yellowish-brown very fine diagonal rib cloth; man riding on Penny Farthing bicycle with boy seated on fence flying kite in background within double ruled circular vignette, various sports equipment in background, and two boys playing, mountains, stars, rules and lettering, all in gilt and black; two men sailing, ball and bat, stars, rules, and lettering on spine in gilt and black, belt lettered ""YA"" at head of spine. Illustrated endpapers in dark olive.
