Dark yellowish-reddish brown ribbed morocco grain leather; two flowers on gilt background in center in decorative frame in red, green and gilt, decorative flowers and birds, triple rule outer border, center rule dotted, all in gilt; front cover repeated on back cover; vase with plant on spine, birds on plant, woman standing on pedestal holding wheat, cherub above holding flowers all in gilt, lettered in gilt on red background; signed ""Altemus, binder"" i.e.Henry Altemus Co.; a.e.g. Light yellow endpapers.
