Pale purplish-blue vertical rib cloth; candlestick with ornamental medallion in center in white and gilt, lettered in white and gilt within thin rule gilt border, garland with ribbons and flowers with medallions in corners at head in red and gilt attached to double rule thin borders in gilt and red; signed ""B.M.M." i.e. Blanche McManus; motif repeated on spine in white, gilt, and red, lettered and ruled in white and red; t.e.g.; cream endpapers with house behind decorative wall in grayish-green, lettering in red surrounded by garland and ribbon in red, signed by Blanche McManus.
