Deep red (13) diagonal fine rib cloth; series binding with the Leaning Tower of Pisa and town with clouds in background under decorative archway with two decorative pillars, checkered pattern floor, lettering at foot within double rule border, all in gilt and black, all within black rule triple outer border; motif repeated on spine in black and gilt. Illustrated map endpapers in blue.
