Very dark green (C147) vertical rib cloth; circular paper onlay of Indian mother and son stringing peppers (from Lucille Joullin illustration, page 398) within gilt line border; red, light green and gilt flowering cactus branches, gilt lettering, all within gilt single rule border; signed "DD", i.e. Decorative Designers; motif repeated on spine; t.e.g., untrimmed; pictorial endpapers in bluish-gray.
