Margaret U. Griffin enlisted in the U.S. Navy WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service)on 3 October 1942 and entered active service 5 December, 1942. She completed service school at the Naval Training School in Milledgville, Georgia and was assigned to the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Casualty Section, Washington, D.C. Griffin was discharged on 3 December, 1945 as a Yeoman First Class. |
